Aging in Place Curbless Accessible Tiled Shower

2/29/16 Maplestone takes pride in investing in its team members' education and development.Our motto, "Building Your Future", refers not only to the clients future enjoyment of the spaces we create, but also the future of our employees career and personal growth. Most recently, we sent 8 team members to 16 hours of Schluter Training. Schluter is the shower waterproofing system we use for our beautiful tiled showers and the key to our confidence in offering a 10 year leak free guarantee on our showers.

1/1/2016 - We enjoyed celebrating the end of our first year in our new office with a Christmas party for our Maplestone family. We are ready for an exciting year serving all your remodeling and new constructions needs in 2016 for the Winston-Salem and Triad area.


12/1/2015 - 5 additional team members received their lead based paint renovator certification. Maplestone had the largest number of attendees for the training held at the Winston-Salem Home Builders Association on Oct 28. As a NC Certified Lead Renovation firm, Maplestone is capable of safely and legally completing renovation work on homes built prior to 1978. You can look up any certified firm through the North Carolina Certified Lead Professionals listing and under "Search by Firm" select Renovation for the Firm Type.

 

3/1/2015 - Maplestone was awarded "Best of Show" at the Triad Home and Garden Show, presented by the Home Builders Association of WInston-Salem. We were the only home builder or remodeler to earn this distinction. Our booth showcased a tiled shower (shown above), automated toilet and a wheelchair accessible vanity. The booth was showcased for its stylish accessibility on Fox 8's morning news. Steve McSwain spoke with them about the growing demand in Winston-Salem for tiled showers that are accessible and beautiful for Baby Boomers and their aging parents.

11/19/2014- We will be moving to our new office in December. Please look for us at 2625 S. Stratford Rd. in 2015. Located in the old Clemmons Hardwoods building, we will be just 2 miles from Hanes Mall Blvd and have more space to showcase and stage products to make the entire building process easier and faster for you!

4/30/2013- Maplestone Construction was awarded the "Best of Houzz" award by Houzz.com . The custom home builder and remodeler was chosen by the more than 11 million monthly users that comprise the Houzz community.

4/23/2013 - Please stop by our entry in the Junior League Tour of Fine Spaces. We are showcasing a Kitchen Renovation and Master Suite addition to 2326 Robin Hood Rd in Buena Vista.

12/31/2012 - Steve McSwain concluded his term as President of the Home Builders Association of Winston-Salem. He was awarded a beautiful plaque and gift certificates to dinner and some movies so he can enjoy his free time with his family!

4/5/2012 - We have moved to our new office! Stop by and see us at 868 West Fourth St in the Historic West End District. We are located directly across from the Fourth St Filling Station and beside Mozelle's.

2/20/2012 - The Triad Home and Garden Show was a big success! The new venue at the Dixie Classic Fairgrounds Education Building had ample free parking. Our very own Steve McSwain served as Chairperson for the 2nd year in a row.

11/2011 Steve McSwain of Maplestone Construction was elected President of the Home Builders Association of Winston-Salem. He previously served as Vice President of the Association and the Remodeler's Association.
